Healthy Tips During Rainy Season:
- Keep your umbrella with you always
- Eat healthy food
- Drink clean water
- Wash your hands
- Keep surroundings clean
Injury Prevention:
- Don't attempt to restore power without professional help. Avoid the power lines in the water
- Dirty rainwater gets collected in shoes which can cause infections to get them cleaned and dried
- Use insect repellents to hold mosquitoes if you are bitten by mosquitoes avoid scratching
- Have proper food protection as metal, broken glass can be submerged in water wear proper eyewear before cleaning up an area
- Avoid getting wet in the rain use rain repulsive items and avoid the chances of catching any disease.
- Don't touch your face
- Wash your hands
- Protect yourself from dirty water
- Keep mosquitoes out
- Drink herbal tea
Safety During Floods:
- Disconnected electronics
- Remove standing water
- Dry out soaked areas
- Remove water damaged materials immediately
