Liberica Coffee in the Philippines

This variety is more popularly known in the Philippines as "Kapeng Barako". It was originally grown in a place called Lipa City, Batangas.

Excelsa coffee is sometimes confused with Barako or Philippine Liberica and has a distinct jackfruit taste.

Arabica coffee is the most traded coffee variety. Arabica is more expensive than Robusta, Excelsa or Liberica because it has smoother flavor.
